I am a 12, soon to be 13, year old girl from Greater Manchester. I first entered the 1.5k swimathon when I was 7yrs old and it has been a dream of mine to complete the Triple 5k.  This is 5k on 3 consecutive days! I have supported several charities over the past couple of years but cancer research is very close to my heart due to both my grandparents being diagnosed with kidney cancer. Fortunately they survived after excellent treatment. More about the swimming side of it, I have had swimming lessons since I was 6 weeks old (to be honest I am pretty sure I just floated and slept in my parents arms for the first few weeks) and since then I have spent half of my life in the pool and under water. I am sure you have much more to do than read this too long a paragraph but if you have got to this point thank you and if you have donated thank you again. I can assure you your money is going to a fantastic cause.
