Story
After years in style exile, the Christmas Jumper is most definitely back. Inspired by something of a renaissance over the last few years, Save the Children have designated Friday 13 December Christmas Jumper day. It could be a home-made knitted number, a self-accessorised wintery top, or one of the many in-shop-over-the-top designs; whatever the style, join us in looking daft and helping raise money by wearing your most festive sweater for dress-down-Friday on the 13.
The deal:
- Donate £1 (or more!) on the day or in advance via this site to wear your Jumper
- Everyone who sports a festive pullover will enter a prize draw as part of their team. The team with the best participation will be awarded some Christmas treats for everyone to enjoy.
- Ipsos MORI will match the amount we raise, which means that Save the Children get double the cash.
Look out for posters dotted around the building, and if you’d like to find out a little more about where the money would be going please visit http://www.savethechildren.org.uk/christmas-jumper-day.
In the meantime enjoy those advent chocolates you’ve started eating!
