I will be running to raise money for Medical Aid to Pakistan, the UK's primary charity working exclusively on healthcare initiatives in Pakistan for those in most desperate need; supplying clean water to rural areas, funding medical qualifications, working to halt the spread of hepatitis and providing emergency aid for disaster victims. 

As you may already know I am not the most active person (rolls eyes), in fact I may be known for attempting to avoid any excessive physical activities by hiding with my cat and a book or playing Sudoku (yes these are my real hobbies). Therefore I hope my training for a Half Marathon (at such short notice) highlights how personal and important this charity and its cause is to me.
