My husband was diagnosed with Grade 3 prostate cancer 2 years ago and has undergone intense, invasive radiotherapy and brachytherapy treatment which, thankfully, saved his life. He is still undergoing hormone therapy and his outlook is very positive. Over recent years, my father and several members of my extended family, including a number of very close friends have sadly lost their battle.
