My husband James died in 2013. He was 66. He had that 'let's get on with it positive attitude' and was known in the Beatson, for his comic strip pyjamas, courtesy of yours truly. James contracted AML a few years after having Prostate Cancer and his time in the Beatson was made easier with the help and dedication of the staff and consultants. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done to make James's time there comfortable.

For that, I will be eternally grateful, For that, I walk for Off the Beatson Track, in memory of a man, my soul mate, the rose of my heart, whose heart will beat inside me forever. Thank you The Beatson.
