I am doing The Thames Trek (25 km zig-zagging over 16 London Bridges) for a fantastic charity called Counselling Plus. A Sussex based self-funded charity that helps people with mental health problems, and you pay what you can for sessions. Sadly some people in society cannot afford private therapy or the long waiting time for NHS support, so schemes like Counselling Plus are vital, and save peoples lives. Counselling Plus are in urgent need of funding and recently had to close down 1 branch due to lack of funds. Leaving them with 3 branches instead of 4. Instead of such beautiful schemes expanding, they are reducing, and I am fundraising to help halt this movement for Counselling plus. 

On a personal note Counselling Plus, have really helped me with my own problems with depression and anxiety, and I see first hand how they are helping thousands of others as well. As they offer services ranging from 1-1 counselling, young person counselling, sexual assault and abuse counselling, supporting survivors of suicide, couples counselling and anger management.
