Our brother Isaaq Shafi, from Handsworth aged 43 sadly passed away on 14th September 2020. He was a loving father who leaves behind 6 children. He worked at his own firm. He was at his office when he suffered a heart attack and passed away.

Story

For The Quran Project, we will start distribution in Gambia, (Villages where help is most needed).  Gambia is located in West Africa, where the population is about 95% Muslim, where about 25% of children learn at Madrassas.  Sadly, the rate of poverty there is high and there is a critical shortage of jobs, financial help, material and human resources. Literacy is also low.

The Islamic School, Orphanages and Village Madrassas currently do not have enough copies of the Quran and resources for the students therefore we are collecting donations to purchase Qurans for these people, in the hope that they may also benefit from the Benefits of The Quran.

Each copy of the Quran is estimated to cost about £3.50.  We are setting a Target of 300 Qurans before Ramadhan 1442.

With your donations we will purchase copies of the Quran from local suppliers at the best possible price to maximise your investment and to increase beneficiaries.

100% of your donations will be used to purchase the Qurans. 

In Shaa Allah we will try to personally deliver the Qurans.
