Hospice of St Francis Midnight Walk 2014 · 28 June 2014 ·

The Hospice helps people to live their precious lives well. Our care has many forms – at home, in our outpatient Spring Centre or through specialised care in one of our Hospice beds - and is defined by each person's need. We rely on donations to raise the £5m we need each year to fund our free care.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am undertaking this 11 mile walk through the night on 28th June with my good friend Lora in order to raise money for the fantastic Hospice of St Francis in Berkhamsted. Lora's dad spent his final few days in the hospice in January. Lora's family were really comforted by the support provided by the nurses and staff at the hospice. Says Lora - 'I am truly indebted to the hospice and the way they allowed us the space and time to simply be a family at that delicate time.'
