I am Isabela Hurley and I'm currently fundraising for World Villages for Children and The Sisters of Mary to help change the world one student at a time. For 60 years this organization has rescued and transformed the lives of more than 150,000 of the worlds poorest children from the most desperate situations in 14 facilities across seven countries around the world. Working primarily with students as teens, the Sisters of Mary are able to act as "Mother" Sisters to groups of about 30 students. Through education, vocational training, and building self-confidence students discover new opportunities to overcome the cycle of poverty. Many of our graduates support their families. Thus, when we educate one child, we help whole families, and our impact reaches far beyond each of the 20,000 students currently enrolled.
