Story

***The date on the event is wrong but we can't change it, they are going on the 27th May!!)***

Hi,

I'm Isabella Ambler ! Im 11 years old and in my second term at high school and also I have Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy. Muscular dystrophy is when my muscles aren't as strong as a normal child's muscles. I struggle to walk long distances I can only walk around 3 quarters of a mile without stopping or getting pain in my legs. I have a power chair at school but a lot of people don't understand and sometimes think I don't need one. I struggle with normal tasks like getting up the stairs, picking stuff up off the floor, putting my hand up for too long in class and writing for too long but all my friends at school help out.

My friends Mcfly, Robin, Rich and Milsey are doing the Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for other children with Muscular Dystrophy. The Three Peaks challenge is to try and climb the three highest mountains in England, Wales and Scotland all in one go.

All the money will go to Muscular Dystrophy UK and will help lots of other children with different types of muscular dystrophy.

We would like as many people to put money towards this as it will help to try and find cures for muscular dystrophy.

I hope you can donate because even the littlest amount helps.

Thank you

Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity for 70,000 people living with muscle-wasting conditions.
