Leeds - Kilimanjaro 2022 · 29 August 2022 to 6 September 2022 ·

The students at Leeds will be taking on Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world to support WWF's vital conservation work. The 6-day trek finishes at 5,895m, with mesmerising views of the Roof of Africa.

Story

My challenge is to climb Kilimanjaro to raise funds for The World Wildlife Fund (WWF), and to promote awareness of the plight of many endangered species and habitats in order to support the charity's vital work and research. I will be undertaking fundraising events/ challenges to reach the minimum set target of £3,990.

Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest single free-standing mountain above sea level in the world. The challenge will involve undertaking a gruelling 6-day trek up the mountain, eventually reaching the 'Roof of Africa' at 5,895m.

Your donations will go directly to WWF from this JusGiving page in association with Choose A Challenge, who are organising this event. Any donations, big or small, or simply sharing my fundraising page to spread awareness of the lifesaving work that WWF undertakes will be hugely appreciated. Thank you so much for all your support!
