We are all running the Manchester 10k in honour of our angel Jessica Rae Parkinson. Jessica left us suddenly and unexpectedly, after her mum dropped her off at school and kissed her goodbye Jessica collapsed around 11am, her mum rushed her to school where she was met with every parents worst nightmare. Her body lay lifeless and her pupils dilated. She was rushed to Macclesfield hospital where they did a brain scan, which then confirmed it was life or death for Jessie. Jessica was then sent to Manchester royal where they sadly confirmed Jessica was brain dead. They kept Jessica on life support, so her dad could come and say his final goodbye. The last few hours were spent with her mum and dad lay with Jessica. Jessie will forever be a huge part in all our lives. In memory of Jessica I am running the Manchester 10k for Manchester University NHS foundation trust
