Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In January 2021, we lost an incredible soul that I was fortunate enough to call my husband.
Nathan was undeniably a handful, however he was the kindest, most generous, passionate, talented, funny and caring man I have ever met.
Nath made it his mission to help as many people that he could, so that they should feel as little suffering and hurt as possible, and did this by helping both individuals and charities alike.
It is with this, that I have decided this year I will be undertaking a number of challenges in order to raise money for the charity Home-Start.
I will be uploading a video on Facebook to explain all I intend to do, and probably just waffle on incoherently about Nath and charity in general (please forgive me!) and then pinning it to the top of this page. For those of you who can't watch the video, for whatever reason, the challenges are as follows:
The Ring of Kerry Virtual Challenge - 200km on the exercise bike. I m doing this via The Conqueror app, and will be posting progress as I go.
The Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge - traditionally, this is done over 24 hours, but due to childcare issues etc, I shall be doing it over three weekends. The challenge consists of climbing to the peaks of Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen Y Fan. Some I will be doing alone, others I am trying to persuade a couple of Nath's friends to join me, so we can chat about him on the way!
I fully understand that the past two years have been hard for us all, and continue to be with the worrying situation in Ukraine - if you can, please donate a little, and if you can't, then please share this page far and wide, so that we can raise as much money for this wonderful charity that we can. Childhood is so fleeting these days and is so important. Every child deserves to feel safe and loved, and every struggling family deserves support and kindness.
