On the 9th June I will be running a 5km leg of GeogSoc's annual Rally4ShelterBox event, a continuous 285 mile human powered relay around the entire Cornish coast. The event this year is "bigger and better than ever before" with 38 legs which participants can either run, cycle, swim, kayak or row. 

For those of you that know me, I'm no runner so 5km will definitely be a challenge!! 

ShelterBox, based here in Cornwall, is a really amazing charity who provide emergency shelter and tools for families around the world, who have been robbed of their homes by natural disaster or conflict so this charity is a really worthwhile cause.
