I'm doing a marathon this April for people who are homeless because I believe in a society where everyone has a place to call home and a stake in their community. Depaul, the charity I am fundraising for, works with hard to reach groups - the most marginalised people in homelessness. Many of the people Depaul support have underlying conditions and their risk of becoming seriously ill from Coivd-19, if contracted, is very high. For the past year Depaul has been protecting medically vulnerable people who are homeless in three shielding units throughout Dublin's city centre.
