I'm running for this charity as it is an initiative which I believe will help many children find a passion for a new sport which they may have previously not encountered, a sport which has shaped my life so positively. 

In 2019 Platform Cricket worked with 88 schools and almost 5,000 children in inner London.Through the provision of new "pop up" clubs we brought 275 children into community participation, 37% of whom were from deprived backgrounds and 75% of whom were from BAME backgrounds. Our activities were found to have a significant impact on social cohesion and physical/mental health in our focus communities.We are now seeking support to expand the project to new neighbourhoods so that 100s more young Londoners and their communities may benefit.
