Salaam brothers and sisters!

I have a request for you all.

I work for a charity which is very dear to my heart and I believe it's unique aim is something that isn't truly appreciated in our Muslim community.

Whilst many of us cherish these moments and understand the blessings of Ramadhan, there are Deaf children and adults who cannot celebrate this joyous month in the same way. This is only because they are not able to access Islam in the same way as everybody else and are often abandoned by the rest of the Muslim community. This can lead on to many other problems for instance a deaf Muslim person abandoning Islam all together.

Al Isharah charity is the very few Muslim charities which provides a platform to help the Deaf community in making Islam accessable for them.
