Glasgow Kiltwalk 2023 · 30 April 2023 ·
I will be doing the Wee Wander 3-mile Glasgow Kiltwalk to raise funds to help people who have no food in Burkina Faso.
I lived in Burkina Faso for most of my first 9 years, and I go back to visit my friends there every year.
But now, over 2 million people there have had to leave their homes, running away from terror attacks. They have no food and are in need of help.
£40 can buy a sack of grain to feed a family for a month.
Would you sponsor me, please, so that we can help those in need. Thank you.

Often severely traumatised by the harrowing things they have experienced, people have left their homes, fields, and possessions, and moved to larger towns to seek refuge and escape the violence of terror attacks. They arrive in unknown places with few possessions, and no way to support themselves.. In the places where they settle, they struggle to get access to food, water, shelter, schooling, or medical help.
APT's partners in Burkina are bringing food, clothing, and bedding to those arriving in their communities, as well as providing access to trauma healing for those in need. £40 can buy a sack of grain to feed a family for a month.
APT is standing with our partners in support for this help to the displaced in Burkina in 2023-24. We would be very grateful for anything you can do to help.
Thank you
