AMMF is the UK's only cholangiocarcinoma charity. Our main aims are to raise the awareness of cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer), to provide information, and to support specialised research teams in their work to find the causes, methods of earlier diagnosis and treatments for this disease.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Island Cycle Challenge will be held on 12 May 2012 and the goal is to raise funds to support A.M.M.F.

The cycle route starts outside the Whitecliff on Chester Avenue, Whitehead and goes round the Bla Hole, up Quay Lane and through Ballycarry. From there it's down the brae and into Islandmagee, following a circuit of the “island” via Mill Bay, Brown's Bay and The Gobbins. Then it's back to Whitehead to complete the 22 mile course.

12 May is significant in that it would have been my brother's 45 birthday. So if you knew Peter, want to help raise money for a good cause or simply fancy a challenge and bit of craic, please let me know if you want to take part.

Sponsorship forms can be downloaded here:-
