The Island Records Hackney Half Marathon Team have come together to raise money for charity and give ourselves a new challenge. The group of staff members are fundraising for Small Green Shoots, which is a unique charity led by young people from disadvantaged areas. Specialising in arts and music activities Small Green Shoots provides “real world” work experience and training opportunities for diverse young people wanting to work in the creative industries. The team is made up of people of varying experience with running- some have never completed a long distance run before- so the team will be cheering each other along with their training, sharing tips and support up until the big day.
