I have been lucky enough to get a last minute place in The London Marathon supporting a charity I feel very strongly about, Amnesty International. It's now a bit of a race to get to the £1,800 pledge I've agreed to raise, so I'm going to need all the help I can get. No matter how much you are able to donate it will make all the difference and I thank you so much for your much-valued support for such an amazing charity.

My grandfather, great uncle and aunt were amongst the last of the children to come over to the UK on the Kinder transport. It was only after my uncle had died, some years ago, that we discovered he had contributed a substantial amount of money to Amnesty International and victims of torture and so it seems apt that I should in some way do what I can to keep his legacy going.
