I am very lucky to work for this fabulous charity and I wanted to do something else to help their fundraising efforts. 

I'm really inspired that Animal Free Research UK focuses on the solutions that will save animals from being used in research, while giving the best possible chance of securing the medical progress we so urgently need. Since I began working with the charity, I have been lucky to find out more about this compassionate and exciting research and I am really keen to help fund even more of it.

I enjoy a gentle jog around our local area and got as far as running a half-marathon distance by myself in lockdown (after the actual event was cancelled). A marathon distance will be a real challenge for me, so I'll be putting in lots of miles between now and then to give myself the best possible chance of making it!
