We are the Socials team of Aston Islamic Society! For Charity Week 2022, we are working with Mercy Relief to fundraise for supporting orphans in war-torn Yemen. 🥺🇾🇪

For orphans, every day is a bitter struggle for survival. Most are homeless, hungry, alone, and constantly vulnerable to abuse and exploitation. Memories of the lives they once had with their loving parents are sadly fading. 😢

 The Prophet  ﷺ made this great promise to those who support the Orphans: “I and the one who sponsors an orphan shall be in Paradise like these two” — and he raised his index finger and the one next to it, holding them together, barely separate” (Bukhari). 🤍
