Hello all and welcome the Isolation Song Contest.
Tonight would have been the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 but sadly the world had other plans.
Whilst the UK remains on some form of lock down for the next few weeks at least I’d love for you to use this time to honour the competition that would have been whilst raising some money for a charity that desperately needs it at this time.
The idea is that you have two weeks to plan, rehearse and perform a song for the Isolation Song Contest. Send me your videos by the 30th of May and they will be put on this page for the public to view and vote on. The winner will be announced a week later on June 6th.
If entrants could please make a £5 donation to St David’s hospice via the link that I will post separately. Then once your video is up encourage your friends to view and vote. If voters want to make a donation too that would be great!
The song can be your own composition, a cover of another song, perhaps a previous Eurovision entry, or a parody of a known song. You may wish to do an tribute to one of the Eurovision countries and fancy dress is optional but, of course, encouraged.
So join us, please, for the Isolation Song Contest! ❤️🎶❤️
