Tough Mudder (Midlands) · 22 May 2016

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

"Heroes are never perfect, but they're brave, they're authentic, they're courageous, determined, discreet, and they've got grit"

May 22nd will see Crazy Charmaine, Merry Michelle, Jolly Joell, Keen Kevin and I (Kiki Kerry) participate in the deadly, soul destroying, (would probably make baby Santa cry) Tough Mudder Challenge

This 10-12 mile (18-20 km) obstacle course will truly test our endurance, determination and grit as we smash through the birth canal, succumb to electroshock therapy, scramble with Quagmire and do the funky monkey. https://toughmudder.co.uk/obstacles

Our aim is raise £250 each. All money raised will be donated to our corporate partnership charity the Prince's Trust.

The Prince's Trust promote by all charitable means the mental, spiritual, moral, physical development and improvement of young people and to provide opportunities for them to develop to their full capacities and enable them to become responsible members of society so that their conditions of life may be improved.

This is achieved by:

> Helping young people aged 13-30 who are unemployed or at risk of unemployment because they have struggled at school

> Bringing young people together from different backgrounds, cultures and faiths, so that they can make a positive impact on society.

> Providing practical support, enabling them to overcome their problems and get their lives on track

> Delivering proven, high quality programmes and basic financial support, which help young people to develop the confidence and skills they need to get a job or start a business

Where will your money go:

Fairbridge Programme // Get Into Programme // Get Started Programme // Local Programmes & Pilots // Enterprise Programme
