Story
Hi folks! Thanks for visiting my just giving page!
I have 4 days off coming up and I thought I'd do something useful. It's short notice but I'm trying to raise a wee bit to help look after and educate children in a remote part of Nepal. The Bootstock Association was set up over 10 years ago and is a small Scottish charity that makes a big difference to the lives of Nepalese kids and the communities they live in. We are so lucky in this country to get free primary education, so why not donate a wee bit to help out.
Here's a little bit more about what they do...
The Bootstock Association is a registered Scottish Charity which organise an annual music festival to help fund educational opportunities for disadvantaged children in the poorest and most remote regions of Nepal. We are also the official UK partner of Mitrata Nepal Foundation, a Nepal based NGO which helps underprivileged children and orphans.
Hope to see you all at the Bootstock Festival on 8th & 9th September 2017
2015 Nepal Earthquakes
More than 8,500 people have died following April’s devastating earthquake in Nepal and over 5000 schools are destroyed. The Bootstock Association is helping the rebuilding process in Ramdi Ridi, in Palpa District. The school and 54 homes in the village have been destroyed.
Please make a donation, or come along and support the Bootstock Festival on 8th & 9th September.
