In 2008 I lost my best friend, my mum to skin Cancer, she was 63!
This is a horrible disease which at present has No Cure! It is one of the most common Cancers in the UK.
2,500 people a year die of Skin Cancer, that means 7 people a day die of this presently incurable disease. My mum was one of the unfortunate ones who lost their lives, so on the 12th July 2015 I am taking part in the British 10k Run in London, which is part of The British Skin Foundation's 'It Takes Seven' skin cancer appeal. If you can donate, no matter how much, it would be hugely appreciated and 100% of every pound raised goes towards vital research in finding a cure.
