Italia Conti Petersfield will be holding an MND Association Charity day on the last day of term, 8th December, to help support a charity which is very close to Jordana's heart. The story is below...

Jess has been one of my closest and dearest friends since we met at Italia Conti London at the age of 12. When her Mum was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease last August it was devastating for Jess, her Dad Martin and everyone who knew her. Sadly, Jane passed away on 25th October 2018 aged only 55. Close friends and family have been there with unending love and support throughout and have also raised thousands of pounds to help MND Association in researching to understand this terrible disease and what more can be done. ​

Here are just a few facts about the disease:​​
•MND is a fatal, rapidly progressing disease that affects the brain and spinal cord.​​
•Six people per day are diagnosed with MND in the UK.​​
•There is no cure.​

The MND Association is the only national charity in England, Wales and Scotland dedicated to improve care and support for people affected by MND, fund and promote research and raise awareness.​

We will be supporting this charity on Saturday 8th December with a 'Christmas Jumper Day' where we will be collecting £1 (or more) as a donation as well as a Cake Sale and other exciting games! All proceeds from the Canteen on this day will also go towards the charity.
