The cycle ride will see me take on a 150-mile cycling challenge with a route through the Suffolk Countryside. Along with all the participants, I will cycle approx. 75 miles per day for two days starting and finishing at Ipswich Town Football Club.

The Ipswich Town Foundation was set up to deliver an innovative range of football and sporting activities, to engage, inspire and develop as many people as possible. We represent Ipswich Town Football Club within the local and surrounding communities, acting as an extension of the club to engage with local people and make a genuine impact on their lives.

Here at Ipswich Town Foundation, we offer a fun range of sports activities and courses suitable for youngsters of all ages and abilities from across the Suffolk and neighbouring counties.

Our FA/UEFA qualified football and sports coaches deliver high-quality sessions that run before school, in-school, after school, on evenings and weekends and during the school holidays. As well as providing football and sports opportunities for children across the region, our programme leads and respective coaching teams have gained a reputation for their ground-breaking sessions and workshops.

FUTURESTARS

Encouraging values and inspiring young people.

Futurestars is an exciting education-through-sports charity founded in 2018 that works with six schools in Ghana and one in Togo. We offer

• Sports & PE coaching sessions, run by qualified coaches, including pre and after-school clubs for the children to develop their skills funded by our corporate donors.
• A scholarship programme at the Future Leaders School in Accra; an independent school with no government funding for children who may otherwise not be in education. As little as £12.50 a month is the cost of educating one child and we are actively seeking donors to help make the school sustainable as part of our long-term charity goals.
• We offer a volunteer experience of a lifetime for individuals, schools, colleges or corporate groups to travel to Ghana to work on the projects at our partner schools.
