We have set up this page in memory of Hywel Jones, who sadly died of cancer on the July 4th earlier this year.

Hywel, a musician, writer, Husband and Father from Llantwit Fardre, near Pontypridd, spent five years fighting this disease and even as our Wales this Week cameras filmed with him in January this year, he was told that he would only have months left to live.

But despite this, Hywel had a dream, and although his condition was getting worse, he was determined to fulfil it.

Hywel's dream was that he would record and release a song he had written, 'Always it's You', a love song about his wife Cathy. And through all adversity and against all the odds Hywel, along with his closest friends and family, achieved that dream. A dream which has left a legacy designed to help others in Hywel's situation.
