Story
Hi everyone! I’ve decided to swap my usual weekend lounging for some padded shorts and a lot of gears. This May, I’m taking on the Garmin Ride Out 2026!
This is a massive milestone for me: it’s my first-ever 55-mile ride, and my first-time fundraising for a cause. To say I’m a total newbie is an understatement, but I’m doing it for a legendary reason: Action Medical Research.
For 70 years, Action has been the powerhouse behind UK medical breakthroughs—they helped beat polio, developed ultrasound technology, and fought meningitis. Today, they are still on the front lines, researching cures for sick babies and working to prevent stillbirths.
I’m nervous about the miles, but the research they do is life-changing. I’d love your support (and maybe some tips on how to survive 55 miles in the saddle!) as I try to hit my goal for these amazing kids.
