SOS Bus NI is a marvellous charity which I'm privileged to be involved with. In addition to delivering education programmes to schools on the dangers of alcohol and drugs, into the early hours of Saturday and Sunday mornings, the SOS volunteers on the "Yellow Buses" provide a shelter (and sometimes medical rescue) to those in need. SOS has saved numerous lives, prevented an unknown number of rapes and in 100's of occasions has simply ensured that young folks get home safely after over-indulgence with alcohol.
