Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This page is in memory of Ivy Strachan, a much loved wife, mum and nan. She spent many happy hours at John Storer House playing bridge and meeting others and she was always keen to support local causes and charities that made a real difference to the local community. We have so many fond memories of her from our early childhood in Loughborough and many delightful holidays in the Lake District, and elsewhere in the UK and camping in  Brittany in France to more recently sharing her love of jigsaws, crosswords and bridge as she became less mobile. She was a real character with a great sense of humour, who always spoke her mind but she was also a deeply caring person, keen to help and support others. She will be sadly missed though she has left us with so many lovely memories, that we can enjoy looking back on.
