My Pops would have been 70 last year and I wanted to celebrate that AND raise money for the awesome Stroke Association. We lost him in 2010 to a stroke when he was just 66, so I want to do something to help try and save someone else's dad by raising money for the SA to research more into causes and preventions of stroke.

I wasn't fit enough to do anything big last year, so better late than never, I'm doing a HUGE trek across part of Wiltshire in 2014, on his birthday :)

As I have a rather aggressive form of psoriatic arthritis I'm limited to what i can do, so this trek will really challenge me and it will mean a LOT to be able to complete the course and know I've raised money for a really great charity.

The Stroke Association do amazing work with research and support of stroke survivors, and I'd like to help them continue to do so.

I'm mid-way through training, and I'm confident i will be trek-ready in time (albeit a breathless, shaky and wibbly version).
