Story
I have had Fibromyalgia (FM) for 21 years & it a debilitating condition which now affects 1 in 50 people.
With this condition, often known as the 'invisable illness', I am in some level of widespread pain every day & have many other symptoms including fatigue, sleep problems, headache/migraines, irritable bowel syndrome, low immune system, poor concentration & memory difficulties known as 'fibrofog'.
So due to all of the symptoms & having people walk away, make unhelpful & spiteful comments, it's not surprising I've been very depressed/got depression. Many people are in so much pain they can't bear it any longer & very sadly, have ended their life!!
There is currently no cure for FM so please help me raise money so oneday there maybe more research to find the answer. Plus helping our association continue all their brilliant work, giving advice, giving support & raising awareness.
This is happening during May as Fibromyalgia Awareness Day is on the 12th May.
