My parents, Richard and Kathleen Kelleher, believed in the power of education.Though I was born deaf, they dedicated themselves to my education. I learned both English and American Sign Language. In turn, I committed my career to making higher education accessible and affordable to all qualified students who want to learn. 

With over 35 years of experience in academic leadership, I am amazed at the power and promise of education at Antioch College. Today's Antioch students are the leaders and voices of equity and justice we desperately need. These students, when they graduate, will lead complex and inclusive communities in new and exciting ways. They are feisty, people-centered, values-driven, and focused on truth and action. They get better at who they are and what they do at Antioch.

Almost three-quarters of our students are eligible for a Pell grant, meaning they have a very high level of financial need. We want to be known for for making college affordable and accessible to all students and families.
