The 'Jab It Forward' Campaign is a Rotary Swanage & Purbeck led initiative created by an Aunt and Nephew duo - Ben and Mo Andrews - to help communities in low-income countries become vaccinated against Covid-19.
If you have received the Covid-19 vaccination in the UK, and are able to donate, please ‘Jab it Forward’ and donate the cost (£5-£10) of a vaccination for a person from a low-income country. The money will be collected by Rotary Swanage & Purbeck and then transferred to Unicef’s VaccinAid programme.
Please share our fundraising page with your friends and family to help promote the campaign and maximize it's impact!
Why Unicef: UNICEF is the only global organisation ready to deliver an operation of this size, being experts in large-scale vaccination initiatives. As part of the COVAX Facility, with your help they’re using their extensive knowledge and infrastructure to deliver COVID-19 vaccines around the world. COVAX is a ground-breaking collaboration between 190 countries - Its aim is simple: ensure every country in the world has fair and equal access to the COVID-19 vaccines. It’s co-led by Gavi (The Vaccine Alliance) and the WHO, among others.
The Covid-19 vaccine has given us hope that the world can 're-start' again, but other countries need support with their vaccination programmes so we hope to do our bit to support them.
