Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the Southampton Half Marathon for Charlton Farm, South West Children's Hospice.
Just after the first Lockdown in April 2020 my beautiful little niece Ottie was diagnosed with Stage 4 aggressive Neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer. Charlton Farm have supported Ottie and my family since 2021. They have been an invaluable support for my sister, brother in law and my niece Audy. The hospice looked after the family when they visited for respite, and for the last 4 weeks of Ottie’s life she was in the hospice under their care. The staff were always on hand, with the Sibling Group looking after my niece Audy when my sister and brother in law needed a break or were spending time with Ottie. They will continue to support the family now that Ottie has died. The job that they do in these hospices is phenomenal. It’s a passion for every single person who works there. The care and love they put into everyday is just wonderful to see.
I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done for Ottie and everything they have done and will continue to do for my family.
The funds raised will help support other families, supportstaff, food, and entertainment and activities for the childrenand families who use the hospice..
Everyone at South West Hospices are the most incredible people.
