On the 25th of March, I will Join Southampton FC legend
& Saints Foundation Ambassador, Franny Banali, as well as other fundraisers,
on a marathon length trek along the south downs way from Brighton to Eastbourne,
in aid of Saints Foundation.

This will be the toughest long-distance fundraising
challenge I’ve taken on. The 26.2 miles will be full of steep hills and will really
test the groups endurance. But it’ll all be worth it to raise money for this
wonderful cause.

Saints Foundation aims to support people in Southampton to
live healthier and more fulfilling lives. I get to see the effect of the life
changing work we do in the community on a daily basis. This charity has an
impact on so many people, for example, last year the youngest person we worked
with was 4 years old and the oldest 94!

I have personally benefitted from being on the employability
programme “Saints Works” when was I younger and struggling.

Since then, I have spent 3 ½ years working on the Senior
Saints project supporting older adults in the city to keep physically & socially
active. My current role is to support Men with their mental health as
part of our new project “Saints by Your Side”.

I know in the past people have always been very generous when
I have done similar challenges, but I understand times are tough for people
especially this year but if anyone can spare any donation to this whether small
or large, I really would appreciate it and so would those it’ll benefit
