There is no loss crueller than the death of a child.

Hope House & Ty Gobaith Children’s Hospices support more than 750 families throughout Shropshire, Cheshire, Mid & North Wales who are caring for a terminally ill child, or whose child has died unexpectedly.

They are centre of excellence for palliative care and provide families with much needed respite breaks as well as providing support for any siblings.

Hope House Children’s Hospices are more often than not the only source of support for families caring 24/7 for a seriously ill child.

No-one should face the death of a child alone.

It costs Hope House & Ty Gobaith a staggering £7.5 million every year to support these families.

Approximately only two month’s income comes from statutory sources and for the other 10 months of the year Hope House & Ty Gobaith are dependent on public support which is why taking part in a challenge like this and raising funds for them is so important to me.
