The Venice Audubon Rookery Park is a magical place but it is under stress with noise and new construction. Old timers say the birds are thinning. We must improve the habitat, adding native trees and plants to provide food and shelter for our famous nesting shore birds and all the other species that live here or pass-by during migration.
Venice Area Audubon will use all donations to improve the native habitat at the Venice Audubon Rookery. This park is an remarkable example of a how small oasis in a busy suburban area can provide habitat for many species of birds to raise their young.
You are what hope looks like to a bird. Please, make a donation today and then plan to visit our Rookery this winter to see the hundreds of nesting birds. It is a remarkable place.
Donating through JustGiving is totally secure. Your details are safe - they'll never be sold or send unwanted emails. Your donations go our directly to Venice Area Audubon. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs to help the birds.
