Our mission is to spread help, hope & answers. Easterseals’ purpose is to change the way the world defines and views disability by making profound, positive differences in people’s lives every day. We help our clients build the skills and access the resources they need to live, learn, work and play.

Story

Easterseals Central & Southeast Ohio is an indispensable resource for people and families living with disabilities throughout Central Ohio. We provide services & programs for individuals with special needs in a 29 county territory through four service sites: Columbus, Chillicothe, Mount Vernon, and South Point. In each community, we strive to meet the needs of that area. Easterseals, our families, volunteers, and donors are committed to a vision of an inclusive world that values all people and their contribution to society.

I joined the Board of Directors in 2017. I grew up in Central Ohio and have been passionate about giving back to the community since I graduated college in 2016. One of my biggest passions has been making sure that everyone in the community is given a chance to succeed, to start off on a more equal footing. I think that Easterseals, through our early childhood intervention programs, is helping to make up that deficit and ensure that all kids in our community are prepared to go on and do great things. With our adult daycare and in-home services, Easterseals ensures that nobody is left behind.

What started as a chance to simply be involved with a reputable, amazing organization had grown into a strong passion and something that I am truly proud to be doing.
