Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am going to be running in the 2020 London Marathon in support of O2e. Please take a minute to read a small background on the charity and  how they make such a huge difference to children's lives.

O2e was established in 2006 to encourage people to push themselves physically, stepping out of their comfort zones to help improve their own lives and well-being. By raising money in the process, the second and all-important goal is to improve the lives of children and young people with mental or physical disabilities and those with life-limiting illness and conditions.

To date, a staggering £2,350,000 has been raised, with hundreds of people across the UK embracing O2e as a way of life. Each year, 6-8 carefully chosen children's charities are supported by O2e, some small enough to slip under the radar so the significant amounts raised for them by our supporters can make a huge difference to the children they care for.

Now, 20 years after its conception, our supporters are still finding ways to push themselves to new limits and because O2e is 100% non-profit making, literally every penny they raise sees its way to the people that need it the most - the children.
