Story
I've been thinking for so long what I should write in this small box, that sums up why I'm raising money for Cancer Research. But all that comes to mind when I think of Cancer, is the memory of my stomach twisting and the instant panic that came to me, when I found out that someone I love had been diagnosed with Cancer. The whole world instantly stands still and nothing else matters while the words sink in.
I've seen first hand a healthy man deteriorate in a matter of weeks, but with intense treatment he is still with us today. But I know without the research he would not have made it. Not everyone is so lucky.
So this May, Stuart Burgess and I, are going to be putting ourselves to the test, by cycling 900 miles from my house in East Eussex to Santander (Spain- not Uckfield high street) in 12 gruelling days.
So please dig into your pockets and give whatever you can, so that one day no one has to suffer or see a loved one suffer from this disgusting disease again
