Dirty Weekend 2018 · 12 May 2018 ·

We support young people and adults with mental health issues in Manchester. We're an independent, self-financed charity offering services to those most in need. We promote positive attitudes to mental health to challenge stigma, increase awareness and work for better mental health for all.

Story

Mental Health affects 1 in 4, I have had a few friends and family impacted and I would like to raise money to support this cause.

I am crazy and training has began, at present I am working on baby steps in the form of a park run most weekends and then you may see me in my shorts around Cambridge early doors.

The Dirty Weekend is a real mental test and I hope to complete the course for a worthy cause in Mind, Manchester which is near to where my roots are.

I am taking part in this challenge with a few of my Harper Adams contemporaries, namely Richard Heady (who's son James's Christening the event at which the idea was born), Chris (BOOGS) Smith and Chris (The Milky Bar Kid) Manley together with Richard's friends from school.

You're welcome to come and support on the day at the fantastic Burghley House...wish me luck and Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
