I am running the TCS London Marathon 2022 to raise funds for Heart Research UK.

Heart disease is one of the single biggest killers in the UK, affecting people of all ages. Heart research UK do some fantastic work to help prevent, treat and cure. 

I'm sure everyone will be close to someone who has been affected, or knows someone who either lives with a heart issue, or has died from one. This is a cause particularly close to my heart with the passing of my Dad 2 years ago. Therefore I will be running every step with my Dad in mind. 

I am a fairly novice runner, so the training involved to run 26.2 miles will be a real challenge, but one I'm excited to take on. 

Over the next six months I will be planning some events to help me reach my target, so expect bake sales and raffles etc.
