Story
Little hiccups is a charity that has supported Jack for many years, this year they are challenging their hiccups to raise funds so Jack has taken on this challenge and will be raising his head during his hydrotherapy 22 times.
This is something that is challenging for Jack as
1. Jack is stubborn and will only lift it when he gets lots of attention from his physios.
2. Lifting Jack's head by himself is very difficult and takes a lot of effort and determination.
As you know Jack was born with complex medical needs and to him the simplist of tasks can be difficult but he does them with the biggest smile on his face.
Little hiccups have provided a space where Jack can be himself, we were welcomed as a family and given opportunities that we would never had considered something Jack would ever achieve. Jack's been hurtled down a ski slope in a sit ski with the biggest smile on his face, he's climbed, swam and partied with his friends.
Not only do hiccups do family days out, they provide a space where parents can receive counselling, can chat with other parents, children can have physio and hydro. They provide families with bereavement boxes which is something so heart breaking but sadly needed in the special needs community.
Any donations will be appreciated.
