Story

Hi, and thanks for taking the time to check out my JustGiving page.

As a part of Loughborough RAG Week, I'm doing the 5 Peaks Challenge!

For those of you who have no idea what that means, I'll be climbing 5 of the biggest mountains in the UK, in 72 hours!! Amongst these mountains are Ben Nevis and Mount Snowdon.

It sounds like it's gonna be great fun, I'm really looking forward to it! In July 2010 I climbed Scafell Pike with two great mates; I'm also in Loughborough Uni's Hiking Club, so that means I've had some practice with climbing and whatnot. Always a good thing...

The main purpose of the Challenge is not for me to have fun, though. I'm raising money for Cancer Research UK, to help their ongoing hard work which saves thousands of lives every year.

I'd really appreciate it if you could make a donation to help me reach my target of £350. Your money will be going to an incredibly worthy cause, and you won't regret it. There's no minimum donation, so just give whatever you can afford.

Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for your donation! :)

Jack

UPDATE:

Completed the challenge no problems - I was pretty tired by the end but had great fun! I don't think I'll swap my comfy bed for a coach any time soon though :) we had great weather on all three days, and no rain apart from a small drizzle in Wales. I took plenty of snacks to keep me going, but we had great banter as a team which was the main thing that got us up and down so fast!

Thanks again for the donations, and if you haven't already, feel free to donate!!
