A HUGE thank you to all who have sponsored me and for your kind words of encouragement.

Making it to the start line for 6.15am was in itself a challenge so actually getting around the 21-and-a-bit km course was an added bonus.

Conditions were good – although it rained throughout, this had the double benefit of taking heat exhaustion off the table (always a comfort in Asia) and allowed for a more humoured approach to my running partner’s decision to hurl a cup of water over me at every drinks station.
