Both Jack and I have Addisons Disease which is a very rare life threatening condition . Our adrenal glands ceased to function and consequently we take steroid replacement medication for life.

Despite the debilitation this often causes, Jack competes regularly in triathlon and duathlon events both at home and abroad and is determined to add the London Marathon to the list! 

The ADSHG has given both of us much up to date information and support, especially during 2012 when Jack was seriously ill.
